These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Gradarina, operated by David Wild (“Gradarina”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Gradarina, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Gradarina. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, we encourage you to review these Terms with a parent, carer or teacher.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Please give accurate information when you sign up, and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You can change your password or delete your account at any time from your settings.
When using Gradarina, you agree not to:
Gradarina is designed to help you study, revise, and learn — not to complete assessed work dishonestly. You agree to use Gradarina in line with your institution’s academic-integrity rules. You must not use Gradarina to plagiarise, to submit AI-generated work as your own where this is not permitted, or to gain an unfair advantage in assessments. Misuse of the service for academic dishonesty may result in suspension or termination of your account.
You keep ownership of the material you upload (your notes, documents, and other content). By uploading it, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you — for example, to generate your quizzes, flashcards, and study clips.
You must only upload material you have the right to use. You are responsible for ensuring your use of any third-party content (such as lecture material) complies with your institution’s rules and applicable copyright law.
Gradarina, including its software, design, branding, and the “Gradarina” name and logo, remains our property. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond using the service as intended.
Gradarina includes social features such as posts, comments, community chat, and direct messaging. You are responsible for what you share. We operate moderation tools, including blocking and reporting, and we may remove content or restrict accounts that breach these Terms. Content you post may be visible to other users according to the feature you use.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Gradarina if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or where necessary to protect other users or the service. You may stop using Gradarina and delete your account at any time. Some provisions of these Terms, by their nature, survive termination (such as those on intellectual property and liability).
We work to keep Gradarina available and functioning, but we provide the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gradarina is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated content, service interruptions, or content posted by other users. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may update these Terms as Gradarina develops. We will update the “last updated” date above and, where changes are significant, take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued use of Gradarina after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
